Christine Baker

Christine Baker, CPA joined PhotoniCare as CFO in August 2023, bringing several decades years of experience with privately held and investor-backed companies. Her experiences include leading the finance and accounting functions as CFO for young companies raising equity and debt capital; identifying and implementing state-of-the-art finance tools and products to streamline, modernize and ready for growth; providing expert guidance on financial reporting and forward-looking planning; and advising companies on a wide variety of valuation matters such as ownership transition, management buyouts, employee ownership and shareholder disputes to name several. Prior to serving in a CFO capacity, Chris was Managing Director at a boutique investment banking firm and before this she was a Principal at a Top 10 accounting firm. Chris earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Computer Science from Hope College and was nominated by her professional peers to serve nearly a decade in national leadership positions for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She is also accredited in business valuation and is a volunteer Mentor at Surge powered by Lakeshore Advantage.
